Countdown Numbers Strategy & Rules
In the classic TV numbers game, players choose 6 numbers from two groups:
- Large Numbers: 25, 50, 75, 100
- Small Numbers: Two each of numbers 1 to 10 (e.g. 1, 1, 2, 2 ... 10, 10)
The optimal human strategy is "Target Scaling": multiply your large number by a small factor to reach the nearest hundred, then use addition and subtraction on the remaining tiles to fine-tune the final digits.
